This remarkable cave system near American Fork, Utah, is full of geological treasures including helictites, (think of funky straw-like rock formations), "cave bacon," "cave popcorn," and many other mesmerizing rock formations. Most of the incredibly elaborate rock structures appear as though they were painstakingly sculpted by man.
Before reaching the cave opening, visitors will endure a somewhat strenuous hike along the side of a mountain. There are three main sections available to the public: Hansen Cave, Middle Cave, and Timpanogos Cave.
