Our Nature Nut Says:

Bear Lake is known for its intense turquoise blue water, which is colored by the reflection of limestone deposits in the lake. The 70,000 acres of beautiful water here draws visitors to water ski, wake board, and swim in the warm months and fish in the winter. Other cold weather activities include skiing and snowmobiling on over 350 miles of groomed trails. There are plenty of campgrounds available here for overnight guests and the Park is a great place for reunions as well as conventions. Bear Lake also hosts annual events such as Mountain man rendezvous - a recreation of historic meetings between mountain men and Native Americans, along with Bear Lake Raspberry Days, so if you're in the area, be sure to drop by.
