$ (Inexpensive)Golf Course Statistics: 7,196 yards, par 72, slope 131 - designed by Arthur Hills (1990). This is a public course.
This sprawling, 7,145-yard test (from the tips) has a distinctive, Scottish flavor and linksland character with rolling mounds, native grasses resembling Scottish straw, wildflowers and bountiful bunkering. In addition to its links look, Wingpointe features several large lakes and acres of wetlands that flocks of ducks and gaggles of geese. Water comes into play on 12 of the 18 holes, adding to the challenge and intrigue that has distinguished Wingpointe as a top course since opening in 1990. Wingpointe has twice been voted one of the Top 5 golf courses in Utah by Golf Magazine and was named one of the state's top 2 public-access courses by Golf Digest.
