Weather in Salt Lake City, Park City, Northern Utah

Things to do / Travel Guide

In northern Utah, the freezing cold winters that last from December-March are accompanied by heavy snows that remain on the ground throughout the season. Mild-weathered springs melt the snow and bring occasional rainstorms to the region along with the warmer temperatures. These are followed by dry, warm, sunny summers. Weather conditions are similar in the fall, which features declining temperatures as the season progresses.

If you can stand colder temperatures, the clear, crisp winter is a great season to visit northern Utah, especially if you're into skiing and other snow-based activities. For the non-skiing crowd, a great time to come on by is as the seasons change from summer to fall, when warm, dry weather makes for perfect conditions for outdoor recreational activities.
