Venture down the whitewater of the Hudson River. Experience the 16 miles of Class III-IV+ rapids. In the mornings you can "ride the bubble" as Indian Lake releases water into the river creating 3.5 miles of continuous Class III rapids before heading into the more turbulent Hudson River Gorge. This section, Indian River and Hudson River Gorge, passes through Adirondack State Park and is located in eastern New York, north east of the Hwy 28 and Hwy 30 intersection, 1 mile north of Hwy 28 on Chain Lakes Rd.
Practical Info: Rafting season is open approximately from April to October, with whitewater rafting trips that can be completed in 1 day. The river is suitable for paddle rafts, and oar rafts.
