With a permanent collection of over 350 American paintings and sculpture, The Canajoharie Library and Art Gallery enjoys a reputation as one of the finest small art galleries in the United States. At the heart of the collection are twenty-one oils and watercolors by Winslow Homer. Other works represented include early portraits and landscapes, the Hudson River School, the American Impressionists, the Ash Can School, and regional works.
