A famed Scottish architect designed this course in the 1920s and you can still feel the history. Lush fairways lined by forest provide the golfer a sense of peace and isolation. The first tee overlooks Lake George (whose hubbub is far removed) and the beautiful Adirondack Peaks. The course is playable by all skill levels.
