Golf Courses in Glacier National Park and Northern Montana and Idaho

Things to do / Travel Guide

People come to the northern Montana and Idaho region to get away from it all, and with the remote nature of this region that's not hard to do. What is different, is that you'll be able to find some of the most exciting, interesting, and unusual golf experiences than you'll find anywhere else in the world. No joke!

Perhaps the best example of this is the golf you'll find at the Coeur d'Alene Resort. Here are some features: A complimentary sports massage before you to go out to play, a driving range over the water, lunch delivered to you in a picnic basket, a moveable island green (with a ferry to take you out to your second shot), and finally, a custom bag tag engraved with your name.
What about the golf itself? You can only imagine ….

You can also find golf at Circling Raven located on a nearby Indian reservation. This gorgeous course is both open and wild, so be prepared to see elk, deer, moose, and an occasional black bear during your round.

You'll find other fine options to the east near Glacier National Park. The altitude at the Whitefish Lake Golf Club South Course ensures your drive will travel great distances. Just be careful to keep the balls within the confines of the narrow fairways.

Northern Pines offers another challenge. While you'll love the wide open fairways, you might find yourself frustrated by the tall grass, rolling hills, and water aplenty. Swing your club with care!

Finally, Eagle Bend surrounds you with the beauty of the mountains, while the course challenges you with rolling terrain, large pine trees, and a bit of water thrown in.
