Our Zoo and Aquarium Expert Says:

In the rock-opera Tommy, the title character sang "see me, feel me, touch me…." Once you arrive at the Grand Canyon Deer Farm, you'll be able to imagine the animals singing the same words. Walking among the four-legged farm residents you'll be able to both stroke and feed them, as well as watch them play and even give birth.

Open 10 am to 5 pm (Longer Summer Hours). $ (Inexpensive)

From Grand Canyon Deer Farm - Williams, Arizona:

At this farm 25 miles west of Flagstaff, you can do more than just see the deer--you can walk among them, touch them, even feed them. In fact, the 60 to 80 fallow deer will eat right out of your hand. In June through August you'll see fawns (baby deer) throughout the farm and may be lucky enough to observe one being born. There are other deer varieties including mule, sika, axis, even reindeer. Visit the unusual animals--the farm's resident buffalo, pronghorn and blackbuck antelope, kangaroos, wallabies and llamas--as well as the more traditional farm animals: chickens, turkeys, peacocks and a potbellied pig.
