If seeking more action, why not pack up and go hiking or backpacking, trail riding by horse and bicycle, or enjoy winter activities such as snowshoeing, cross-country and alpine skiing. Visitors can enjoy a swim in desert creeks under red rock cliffs. Camping and cabin accommodation are available for extended-stay fun. Nature lovers will be in awe of the flatlands and mesa that blend with alpine tundra and ancient volcanic peaks, as well as the terrain which brims with sandstone buttes, crimson cliffs, stone spires, and river-sliced gorges. And don't miss your chance to slide down a natural waterslide at Red Rock Country in Coconino National Forest.
