So, lets make sure you are looking for the rock climbing gym in Jacksonville, Florida and not the ones in New York, California or elsewhere in the United States. Now the bad news – to the best of our knowledge the place no longer exists. And the good news, the Edge Rock Gym has purchased the former YMCA climbing center in Jacksonville, FL and is just about a minute away from the former location of Peak Performers Rock Climbing Gym. The Edge has enhanced the rock wall at the YMCA, so that there are now over 8000 square feet of wall. Edge Rock Gym is open till pm on weeknights and open mornings on Tuesday and Thursday and offers courses at all levels of experience and for all ages. Besides rock climbing, there are Yoga and Pilates classes as well.

For kids and birthday parties you get an hour and a half on the climbing wall and then a half hour in the party area for pizza, cake and birthday fun. If you decide to combine some rock climbing with a trip to the beach, Atlantic Beach is one of the most popular in the area and is less than a half hour drive away, down Beach Blvd to Highway A1A, then left past Neptune Beach.
