Address:7 World Trade Center
New York, New York
Looking at the World Trade Center Site now, you can see progress being made in the rebuilding of one of the greatest commercial centers in the world. World renowned architects such as Calatrava, David Childs, Norman Foster, Frank Gehry, Fumihiko Maki, and Richard Rogers are all involved in the new construction. Right now there is a viewing area available to the public, open from 9:00am to 9:00pm at the corner of Liberty and Broadway. Tickets are no longer required for entrance.
Tour guides are available for large groups; the cost is about $10. Self-guided audio tours are also available as well, but don't compromise on the unusual quality of the Tribute Center Tour Guides. The Center uses guides that are drawn from the September 11th survivor community, both those that escaped from the buildings, as well as rescue workers and recovery volunteers. Much of the tour is indoors, through the World Financial Center, observing Ground Zero. Guides draw on their own experiences of that day, giving the tour a special connection with history.
