Occupying almost an entire city block, you may as well call it what it is: the Center of the Toy Universe. The new Toys "R" Us international flagship store in the heart of New York City's Times Square attracts more than 30 million visitors each year. Much more than just a toy store, the massive giant is guaranteed to delight guests with an unrivaled shopping experience, an amazing array of toys and one of the most amazing retail presentations around.
Of course, the kids will beg to visit attractions such as rides on the 60-foot tall indoor Ferris wheel whose cars are all toy-related, from Toy Story, Barbie, and Hot Wheels, to Mr. Potato Head, Barbie's Dollhouse, and a giant skyline of NYC built with LEGO bricks. There's even a "Filled with Love" area where kids make their own plush animal toy with official birth certificate. Of course, the store also has special events and performances such as preschool bands and believe it or not, personal shoppers are complimentary here. The massive toy collection is very well organized, you won't want to miss this place if you're traveling with kids. Be sure to check out the giant Jurassic Park T-Rex, and spend some time at Candyland which has all the candies you remember from when you were little.
