Situated in the middle of Manhattan, Central Park is an 843-acre oasis from the hustle and bustle of city life. Head above 72nd Street to enjoy the quieter areas of the park and to appreciate the park's exquisite landscaping. The park opened in 1873 and nearly four million trees and shrubs in Central Park were planted during its construction.

There are many activities to take advantage of in the park from the Carousel to the wide lawns of Sheep Meadow, perfect for a game of Frisbee or for sun-bathing in summertime.
