Our Theme Park Expert Says:
Coney Island Boardwalk makes for a great trip down memory lane. Generally popular between Easter and Labor Day, people get nostalgic at historical Coney Island with Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs and its annual hot dog eating contest. Astroland is the home of the famous Cyclone roller coaster and there's so much more to offer! Kids will love the kid-friendly motorcycle jump and the carousel, while the adults can swing in the air on the AstroTower! Coney Island also has its own batting cages and go-kart city for more speed and thrills. Spending one evening at Coney Island can make anyone see why the tradition lives on - you'll probably wanna spend the next evening there too!
Open weekends between mid - April and Labor Day and weekdays between Memorial Day and Labor Day. $$ (Moderately Priced) - Pay as you go option is available.
From Coney Island Boardwalk:
Coney Island is a New York City neighborhood that features an amusement area that includes 35 or more separate rides and attractions; it's not a centrally managed amusement park like Disneyland or Six Flags. As a result, specific questions about rides, filming privileges, etc., should be directed to individual businesses. This website is maintained by Coney Island USA, the not for profit arts organization that runs the Mermaid Parade, the Sideshow and the Coney Island Museum, among other programs.
