Fasten your seatbelts as you enter New York's Hall of Science with over 400 exhibits to keep you fascinated. Explore the wonder and excitement of biology, chemistry, and physics, all in a family-friendly exciting environment, sure to leave you coming back for more.

The New York Hall of Science houses a plethora of exhibits including the Nature of Networks, Mathematica: A World of Numbers, Rocket Park, Science Playground, and Sports Challenge. Pedal an antique propeller, examine the insides of an antique steam engine, and see the smaller sides of life in the special exhibits Hidden Kingdoms: The World of Microbes, and Marvelous Molecules: The Secret of Life. Reconnect to the web in the Technology Gallery, or take in Sound Sensations: The inside Story of Audio.

The Sports Challenge exhibition focuses on the science behind sports, with super-interactive challenges and live sport demonstrations. Test your skills at baseball, surfing, tennis, drag-racing and rock climbing by first learning the science behind them, and then compete with yourself or others to improve your skill and score. For more action, climb up, sled down and scamper over New York's only science playground. This exhibition is an outdoor laboratory packed with exhibits that invite whole body participation: giant slides, windmills, water play area, light-activated kinetic sculpture, and a teeter-totter which balances a dozen kids at once.

The New York Hall of Science has temporary exhibitions including a fascinating display of beautiful crystalline snowflakes, and for the more adventurous, there's the Cyberchase Math Mystery Cartoon presenting math in a fun environment. Visitors are invited to join the Cybersquad in a classic "good vs. evil" adventure as the dastardly Hacker attempts to take on Cyberspace. Children will make use of their critical thinking skills and learn to approach math with an investigative positive attitude. Children enter cyberspace through a special portal and will protect the virtual universe while exploring math concepts like algebra, geometry, fractions, and probability.

Stop by Dream Street café for a snack and don't miss the Science Shop with its educational, and easy on the wallet toys, sure to keep you and your children learning and entertained for hours.
