Morse Mountain attracts kids and beginner skiers, while Madonna Mountain is for expert and advanced skiers looking for a real challenge. Five top rated double-black-diamond trails are accessible via the top of Madonna Mountain. Experts will find the trails' trees, icefalls, ledges and stumps quite the thrill. Doc Dempsey's is great for glades and the best of bump runs are in the middle part of Upper Lifline, Smugglers' Alley and Exhibition. Intermediate runs are located mostly on Madonna and Sterling Peaks. Morse is the mountain of the ski school, and has plenty of child friendly lifts and runs. Beginner riders can head to the children's Terrain Gardens on Morse. For more advanced riders, Birch Run Park on Sterling Mountain has some manageable features. Intermediate and expert riders should head to Prohibition Park on Madonna, giving access to a 425-foot superpipe, tabletops, hips and spines.
