You'll be greeted by a 28-foot tall butterfly sculpture surrounded by seasonal gardens. Once inside you'll be able to observe as many as 60 butterfly species and over 150 tropical plant species. You'll most likely even be able to observe the magical moment when a butterfly emerges from its chrysalis. Your visit can include watching a short film on butterfly behaviors and anatomy. There's even a formal classroom and activities such as storytelling and crafts-making are scheduled regularly.

The tropical conservatory is the heart of the Butterfly House. It's carefully controlled environment houses more than a thousand tropical butterflies in free flight. As many as 60 butterfly species and 150 tropical plant species are exhibited. Few moments in nature are as magical as watching a butterfly emerge from its chrysalis. This rarely seen transformation becomes an everyday occurrence in the Miracle of Metamorphosis display. Hundreds of chrysalides from around the world are on display with butterflies emerging before your very eyes.
