Our Zoo and Aquarium Expert Says:
The Zoo is divided into areas like Africa, where you can see zebras, hippos, chimps, and lions; Australia, with dingoes, kangaroos and an aviary; and Tiger Trail, where you'll find the new Sumatran tigers named Langka and Manis. The Kidzone has an animal feeding area, pony rides, a discovery barn, a peek-a-boo tree, and - oh yes - a play area. Walk, ride the tram, or ride the boat (schedules vary). If it's raining or you just feel like getting inside, you can always watch an IMAX film. Oh, and did we mention the shows? There's a bird show, a reptile show, a sea lion show, and lorikeet feedings - all for your viewing pleasure.

From Kansas City Zoo - Missouri:
Two Sumatran tigers, Langka and Manis, are now on exhibit at the Kansas City Zoo. Sumatran tigers are classified as critically endangered, and less than 250 are thought to exist in the wild. Although they have few natural predators, their pelts and body parts are sold on the black market, and they face a quickly shrinking habitat. They are found only on the island of Sumatra, off the coast of Malaysia.
