Table Rock Lake, in The Ozarks of southern Missouri and northwestern Arkansas, is nationally known for its bass fishing. The crystal-clear water is surrounded by gorgeous vistas that you can enjoy while swimming, boating and wildlife watching. The Ozark area surrounding the lake make it ideal for spotting eagles, deer, fox, wild turkey, cranes and other water birds. Table Rock Lake is more remote, and not nearly as busy as other popular lakes in Missouri, offering a pristine getaway in nature.

Fishing in Table Rock Lake reveals large numbers of largemouth, smallmouth, Kentucky spotted and white bass, as well as walleye, channel and flathead catfish, bluegill and paddlefish. Crappie anglers will have good luck concentrating around submerged timber. There are several commercial marinas along the lake where you can rent boats and equipment.

If you have a scuba license, don't miss the underwater sights at Table Rock Lake, like the famous underwater forest, a sunken boat, large boulders and more. The most popular shore access dive area is Dewey Short at the Table Rock Lake dam and visitors center. There are usually a lot of experienced divers at this site, making it a good place for newcomers to learn the ropes. There are three main dive shops located on the Branson side of Table Rock Lake that offer equipment rental and lake-dive trips or guided tours.

Table Rock State Park is a 356-acre state park located right on Table Rock Lake. A multi-use trail travels more than 2.2 miles along the shoreline, great for hiking, biking or skateboarding. Motorized wheelchairs and scooters can also use the trail. Within the park you can find boat rentals, parasailing equipment rentals, a dive shop and a marina. There's a water slide to help you splash in for a swim. For an interesting twist on the boat rental, take out a two-deck house boat, with room for as many as seven people, and outfitted with a fully equipped kitchen-galley, living room and sun deck.

There are many restaurants on Table Rock Lake, many offering outdoor seating. There are also a variety of lodging options, with something to suit any taste and budget. Choose from many family-owned and operated resorts, hotels, condominiums, bed & breakfasts, cabins, and cottages in the woods and hills around the lake. There is a campground, with two camping areas that wind along the shoreline, offering varying levels of amenities, such as electricity, restrooms, showers and laundry machines.
