You'd have to be from another planet not to realize that Worlds of Fun is the place to be. For some hardcore adrenaline action let the Boomerang whip you around; it's a 12-story monster of a coaster that goes forward and backward through upside-down loops and corkscrew turns. If your heart's not in your throat yet, then head over to the Detonator where two twin 200-foot towers will blow you sky high at a speed of 45 miles per hour. The park also includes a 20-story coaster codenamed MAMBA - it's touted as "one of the tallest, longest, and fastest" coasters in the world, and they aren't joking! This steel snake reaches incredible speeds of up to 75 miles per hour. For those looking for a more mellow experience, have no fear, this park is also chock-full of family and kids rides as well.
