We have to admit that we are unable to provide any information about the International Cinema Museum of Chicago or the Cinema Museum Collection of Chicago It seems that at one time there was a collection of cinema, filming and projection equipment dating back to the early days of film. The exhibit is of special interest to cinema historians and technophiles. The only problem is that we can't find the museum or the collection. It may have been shut down a while ago or it may have been absorbed into the collections of on of the many excellent museums in Chicago. Please let us know if you find it. .

Until then, enjoy the other museums in Chicago, one of the best museum cities in the United States. The Chicago Museum of Science and Industry, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Field Museum of Natural History can all be considered to be world-class museums. Buy one of the local attraction passes, such as the CityPass to save some money if you plan on spending time at several of the museums. In the off-season, you can do even better – free. Some of the above listed museums have a free day or at least a ew free hours. But do bear in mind that off-season in Chicago may mean below zero temperatures, so bundle up.
