Site of the "Western Open," Course 4 is long and difficult. Landing areas are tight and the greens, through large and undulating, are heavily guarded by bunkers. Mistakes are punished so bring your best game or stay home.

Nestled in the Des Plaines River Valley, Cog Hill has been luring avid golfers since 1927. This privately-owned golf complex is located in a lovely rural setting less than 30 miles southwest of Chicago. The public is invited to play on one of four 18-hole regulation golf courses, including the world-famous Course #4, Dubsdread. Course #4 has been ranked nationally since it opened in 1964. It is known not only for its demands on shot making, but for its vast displays of natural beauty. Tight landing areas combined with heavily bunkered, large , undulating greens make the course a test for the best. It is here that the Western Open is contested every year.
