Upon your arrival to The Old Lahaina Lu`au, you will be welcomed with a fresh flower lei, a tropical drink, and a personalized souvenir program. You will then be escorted to your reserved seats, where you will watch the performance, and where Islanders will demonstrate traditional arts and crafts of island life. One such demonstration is the Imu presentation, where guests gather around the ocean's edge to unearth a pig from the "Imu," or underground oven. Throughout the evening you can also enjoy an open bar and an extensive buffet of local foods. Some features on the menu include Kalua Pua`a, which is pork roasted on the beach, Lau Lau, which is pork wrapped in Luau leaf, Pulehu Steak, and Island Style Chicken, as well as original salads and island desserts. While you're eating, there is traditional Hawaiian music presented by Na Leo Ho'oulu and accompanied by a traditional dance performance. The show reflects the history of Hawaiians from their roots of migration to modern day, as expressed by the Kahiko dance and the more contemporary style Hula dance. Professional photographers are available throughout the evening for your convenience.

The Old Lahaina Lu`au is open seven nights a week, with shows starting at 5:45 pm in the wintertime, and at 5:15 pm in the summertime. Advanced reservations are required, and can be made by phone. Seats are reserved by the date of the reservation, so it is best to book your seat early to get the best seats. You can choose from Traditional Hawaiian Mat seating, or regular tables and chairs. Prices range from $60-$90 and do not include tips. If you must cancel your reservation, make sure to do it early, or you will be charged for it. Also, children are warmly welcomed and will love the traditional food, music, and dancing, so don't leave them home for this exciting trip!
