In Hawaii, the peak tourist season starts in the middle of December and runs through until the Easter holiday in April. Then, after a brief respite, families with small children flock to the islands starting in early June until late August. The “low season” runs from September until the middle of December, when the numbers start to pick up again.
The value price season for visiting Maui, Molokai, and Lanai is from April-December. Generally speaking, prices for hotels and resorts get cheaper at the beginning of April. Prices start to climb again in December, due to the heavy influx of tourists from the U.S. mainland.
