Arts and Entertainment in Hawaiian Islands of Maui, Molokai and Lanai

Things to do / Travel Guide

Maui

There are plenty of things to do for fun on Maui. Luaus, for instance, take place regularly in Wailea, Kaanapali, and Lahaina. In Kahului, two indoor theaters as well as one outdoor amphitheatre can be found at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. Occasionally big-name local talent, such as musical duo “Seals and Seals” and local entertainer Frank DeLima, stops by the “Casanova,” in Makawao, to perform. Over in Kihei, live music can be heard regularly at “Hapa's Brew Haus”.

Lanai

Lanai is better known for its remote and tranquil beauty, so nights here are thus somewhat more relaxed and quiet than on the other Hawaiian islands. Nonetheless, The Lodge at Koele sometimes has Hawaiian music performances that run until about 11 p.m. From Tuesdays-Saturdays each week, the Hale Ahe Ahe cocktail lounge in the Manele Bay Hotel, also has live music performances.
