Come take a break in one of the comfy, soft seats and enjoy Sunrise! After a day full of shopping, you'll more likely be at Westfield Sunrise during sunset, but either way, you're in for a treat!
Recent renovations have made Massapequa's Westfield Sunrise (formerly Sunrise Mall) into a comfortable shopping haven for the whole family. Cozy chairs and lounges, as well as children's play areas and koi fishponds add to the laid-back, safe and decorative new atmosphere of the mall. Coloring pages and Kiddie Kruzzers are available for children's use at the Shopping Concierge Center. Your kids will have plenty to do, and you could spend hours just lounging around sipping a cappuccino from The Coffee Beanery or indulging on some Haagen Dazs ice cream. And we haven't even mentioned the shopping!
Anchor stores JCPenney, Macy's, Sears, WalMart and H&M are certainly enough to keep you on your toes, but if smaller shops are more your speed, this mall has plenty - 144 stores in total! AVON, Aeropastale, Disney Store, The Pet Company, Payless ShoeSource, Gap, GNC and Waldenbooks are just a sampling of the variety of stores at the mall.
To get to Westfield Sunrise, take the LI Bus Routes N19, N54, N55, N71, N80 or N81. For Suffolk Transit, take the S20 or S33. From New York City take the Long Island Railroad to Babylon and get off at Messapequa Park. You might want to take a cab from the station to the mall - it should take five minutes. If you are driving, Westfield Sunrise is located in Nassau County, just north of Sunrise Highway.
