Our Beach Bum Says:

Families and surfers gather on the urban shores of Westhampton Beach Village for an afternoon filled with sun, surf, sand, and fun! This beach, located on New York's Atlantic Coast is perfect for visitors of all ages. For the kids there's the great sand and the friendly waters. For the older beach-goers among us there's the boardwalk, great for walking. And for everyone in between, there's fishing, hiking, surfing, and more!

Westhampton Beach is the center of Westhampton Village and when you head to the beach you'll see why – great shops, restaurants, trendy bars, a movie theater, a performing arts center, and of course, the beach. There are two main beaches in Westhampton Beach Village, Rogers Beach and Lashley Beach. There's also a marina and yacht basin, and a golf course. Rogers Beach offers a snackbar, bathrooms, showers, lifeguards, and parking. Lashley Beach (a.k.a. Jetty 4) is a little less popular than its neighbor – a bit of a hidden gem known mostly to locals and surfers. There's no snack bar but does have other amenities like bathrooms, showers, and a lifeguard on duty.

Westhampton Beach Village is located on the south shore of Long Island, about 80 miles from Manhattan. A convenient escape from the hubbub of NYC, Westhampton Beach Village is a great choice for your next vacation!
