Our Show & Concert Fan Says:
If you think you've already seen the Phantom of the Opera than think again, because until you see The Venetian's production of Phantom, then you ain't seen nothing yet. Phantom is not only one of the most romantic and chilling shows in the world, but was also named the best show in Las Vegas by the Las Vegas Review Journal. You won't want to miss this smash hit!
The show is only 95 minutes long (as opposed to the two hours and twenty minutes of the original) and does not have an intermission. The technical aspects of the show have come a long way and viewers will be particularly in awe of the crashing chandelier scene.
Phantom is performed in The Venetian's Phantom Theater which was built to resemble Paris' Palais Garnier. This famous opera house was the inspiration for Gaston Leroux's 1909 novel, The Phantom of the Opera, and is thus the absolute perfect setting for Phantom.
There's no better setting for such a spectacular show than The Venetian Resort, Hotel, and Casino. The beauty of Phantom is matched by the beauty of this Venice-themed paradise. It is home to world-class theatrical performances (like Phantom and Blue Man Group, for example), but also to the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum, Madame Tussauds Las Vegas Wax Museum, a state-of-the-art casino, the Grand Canal Shoppes (a high-end mall), Venetian-style canals which provide gondola rides, 17 restaurants (offering great Italian food!), a spa, and of course a luxurious hotel.
You'll recognize the Venetian from such popular movies as Rat Race (2001), Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous (2005), and Resident Evil: Extinction (2007).
The Venetian is located at 3355 Las Vegas Boulevard South, right in the heart of The Strip. Showtimes are Mondays through Saturdays at 7:00pm, Sundays at 9:00pm, and Mondays and Saturdays at 9:30pm.
