The Liberace Museum features all the sparkle of Vegas, as you delve into the life and career of the late pianist and entertainer, Liberace. You'll find the world-famous pianos, cars, costume, and jewelry that established Liberace as the legendary and beloved "Mr. Showmanship."
Among the many pianos on display at the Liberace Museum, is a rhinestone-encrusted Baldwin grand piano as well as Liberace's favorite, a magnificent piano covered in glittery mirror squares. There's also a hand-painted Pleyel, and a Chickering grand piano once owned by George Gershwin. Eighteen rare and beautiful pianos in total are proudly on display in the Piano Gallery.
Liberace's costumes will simply amaze you. The incredible rhinestone-lined, full-length Black Diamond Mink cape and a 200-pound "King Neptune" costume, along with the world-famous red, white and blue hot pants suit, are just some of the lavish costumes on display.
Showcased in Liberace's jewelry exhibit is a golden piano-shaped ring with 260 individual diamonds as well as Liberace's piano-shaped wristwatch paved with diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and emeralds.
Liberace's personal cars include "Stars and Stripes", a hand-painted Rolls Royce, in the colors of the American flag, a Rolls-Royce etched with custom designs of galloping horses and a roadster covered in Austrian rhinestones. These one-of-a-kind cars are dazzling.
In addition to all that, you'll see a recreation of Liberace's grand Palm Springs estate featuring an antique Louis XV desk as well as Liberace's Moser crystal.
At the Liberace Café you'll find a large selection of snacks, sandwiches, salads, soups, and desserts. Be sure not to miss the Liberace store filled with memorabilia, post cards, and gifts.
