Our Casino Expert Says:

One of Las Vegas' hippest places to stay and play, the Palms Las Vegas is the place to see and be seen. Hotel guests are treated to any number of differently-styled rooms, ranging from deluxe to junior suite to grand suites, to specialty suites for VIPs and/or special occasions, like a bachelor party. There's plenty of fine cuisine too, ranging from French, to Asian, to Mexican, to steaks and burgers, to buffet. And when you're not in your room or dining out, there's plenty of sizzling gaming action to enjoy at the Palms casino. Try your luck at the hundreds of slots or table games, in the bingo parlor, keno lounge, poker room, or sports book.
While MTV's "Real World" helped make famous the Palms, located a few blocks west of the Las Vegas Strip, the aquamarine tower's true claim to fame is being in touch with the surreal world of celebrity. It attracts a who's-who list from the entertainment and sports worlds with a variety of amenities and touches that score heavily on the hip scale - from a tattoo parlor to bachelor suites replete with dancer poles.
The excitement starts at the top with ghostbar, a nightclub on the 55th floor that features an open-air deck and see-through dance floor. Along with the Palms' 1,500-seat Rain Las Vegas, this is the place that helped usher in the 21st-century Vegas nightclub era.Celebrities also flock to the resort's fine-dining establishments: Little Buddha, offering Asian-French fusion cuisine and a fresh sushi bar; N9NE, the Vegas version of the Chicago-based steakhouse; and Alize, featuring local restaurateur Andre Rochat's gourmet French cuisine, the West's largest cognac collection and breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip. On the more casual side, Garduno's serves up Mexican specialties and a variety of margaritas; the Blue Agave has oyster and chile bars; the 24 Seven Cafe is the place for sandwiches, salads and breakfasts; and for parties with diverse interests, there's the Fantasy Market Buffet and a food court.
If it's hot and sunny, check out the sensuous Skin pool lounge, featuring intimate, multihued relaxation pools and a bar; if it's not, you can always see a movie in the 14-screen theater (including one IMAX screen) or your future, courtesy of the resident tarot card reader. The resort offers three types of rooms - deluxe, junior suites and grand suites as well as the aforementioned bachelor suites for an Austin Powers-style good time, NBA-sized suites with special fixtures and furnishings for the vertically blessed and, of course, the popular Real World Suite.
