Things to do / Travel Guide
As most of the activities in Las Vegas take place indoors, it remains a popular destination year-round regardless of the weather. The most pleasant times to visit Las Vegas weather-wise are in the spring and autumn months, when visitors can expect clear, warm, sunny days and little or no rain.
When winter hits Las Vegas, you can still expect sunny days, but the temperatures are chilly and winds may make it quite cold at night. As it is the desert, winter is pretty much the only season when rain makes an appearance. Snow is practically unheard of here, as flakes drift in, on average, just once every 5-10 years. Summer brings scorching heat to Las Vegas, with blazing sunshine for weeks at a time. The lack of humidity and constant breezes make the heat tolerable, but you might want to stay indoors if the humidity rises.
