Lake Mead and Lake Mojave are outstanding for water activities like pleasure boating. There is certainly ample space on the lakes to find secluded private spots to enjoy.
Pleasure boaters will have a wide range of things to see and do on the lakes. There's water skiing, swimming, taking in the spectacular vistas, or just relaxing and letting the world float by. Remember that Lake Mead is smack in the middle of the desert. Plan accordingly.
There are a myriad of rental outfits at both lakes where you can rent anything from your basic rowboat to luxury houseboats. As pleasure boating is a popular activity year-round, it is wise to reserve your vessel well in advance.
