The warm weather on Kauai is especially pleasurable, particularly if you live in a normally cold part of the world. Sunny skies and pleasant weather await you all year round, though the occasional tropical shower douses the region, especially the windward coast, every so often. The wettest spot on earth is Mt. Waialeale, in the interior of Kauai, with an average annual rainfall of an amazing 486 inches. On the other hand, the leeward coast features incredibly temperate weather, with barely any rain. The temperature rises slightly in the summer, but, for the most part, the days on Kauai are clear, warm, and beautiful.
