Cold Spring Village in South Jersey is a 22-acre reconstructed small farm village in southern New Jersey including a bakery, shops, and restaurants from the 19th-century. With the help of interpretive programs, performances, and displays, visitors to Cold Spring Village become immersed in the sights, sounds, and tastes of time immemorial.
The open-air, living history museum was created to showcase life in early 1800's rural New Jersey. The antique buildings were shipped to the site from the neighboring counties in South Jersey to build a realistic simulation of the sounds, smells and tastes of the era. Speaking of tastes - the Country Store sells home produced crafts, sweets and other food.
Children enjoy the costumes, building hands-on projects and buying unique toys and games.
