Tucked away on Long Beach Island, Edith Duff Gwinn Gardens is a wonderfully wild wildflower garden on the grounds of the Barnegat Light Historical Society Museum. In this little piece of paradise you can wander amidst the lush and colorful plants or sit on a sunny bench and just enjoy the atmosphere. The gardens are on the grounds of the Barnegat Light Museum and are tended to by members of the Long Beach Island Garden Club.
From Edith Duff Gwinn Gardens - Barnegat Light, New Jersey:
Surrounding the Barnegat Light Museum is one of the most delightful gardens on Long Beach Island. Several years ago, Edith Duff Gwinn and Frances Selover joined forces to beautify this corner of Barnegat Light with a unique and beautiful garden. While both women passed away a few years ago, their successors, members of the Long Beach Island Garden Club, continue their work today.
