Bring the whole family to Long Beach Island's Surf City Beach for a vacation filled with fun, activity, and plenty of sun! Whether for a day, a weekend, or longer, the whole gang will have tons to do and won't want the fun to end!
You'll find your regular beach activities here, like swimming, fishing, boating, and sunbathing, but the real highlight at Surf City Beach is, of course, the surfing! Surfers hang out between North 1st and North 3rd streets and have a ball riding huge (but not too huge) waves. (The designated fishing area is between North 23rd and North 25th streets.) You'll even find basketball courts and playground near South 1st Street and Division Avenue and tennis courts and a softball diamond near Pearl Street and Bay Avenue, so you can sure to never be at a loss for what to do!
Need a break from the beach but not ready to head off this activity-filled barrier island? Other draws to Surf City include the Surf City Yacht Club, an indoor shopping mall, Bay Village with Fantasy Island (with batting cages and a huge water slide), an arcade, and more! You also won't want to miss a stop into the Surf City Bake Shop – their brownies come highly recommended!
