The best time to visit the Jersey Shore is in the summertime. The heat isn't so bad, and it's really rather pleasant. Later on in the season some last traces of hurricanes can make their way to the region. Fall also is nice, with cooler, sunny weather.
The Jersey Shore has winters ranging from chilly to downright cold, and is sometimes hit by nor'easters, fierce storms blowing in from the northwest. Spring brings warm weather to the region, with cool evenings due to the sea breeze. Summers are warm and humid, with occasional daytime thunderstorms, the remnants of more southerly hurricanes. Fall is sunny and pleasant, but the chances for a nor'easter grow.
