You WILL take a picture of yourself golfing at the bottom of a deep lava bowl. You will also do your best to avoid hitting the herds of goats wandering the course. You will travel through forests and play rolling terrain. It is a challenging course so come prepared to discuss what a great time you had admiring the fabulous scenery at the end of the day. This course is as difficult as it is beautiful, but you can do it because you rock.
$$$$ (Very Expensive)Golf Course Statistics: 6,913 yards, par 72, slope 136 - designed by Robin Nelson & Homer Flint (1981). This is a resort course.
The North Course, although a resort course, is fast becoming known as the Mauna Lani Resorts tournament course. A bit more difficult than the South Course, this course displays a much different face of Hawaii Golf. Built on a lava bed much older than the Kaniku flow (on which the South Course lies), it is characterized by rolling terrain punctuated by Kiawe (mesquite) forests. T
