Shoot the whitewater rapids of the Upper Snake River and challenge the 16 miles of Class II-III rapids. This section is located in northwest Wyoming, south of Grand Teton National Park, on Hwy 26.
Practical Info: Rafting season is open approximately from May to September, with whitewater rafting trips ranging in length from a half day to a full day. The river is suitable for paddle rafts, and oar rafts. Portage may be required.
Useful Tips: Guides are optional, although permits may be required for private trips. Outfitters on the Upper Snake River offer trips suitable for families.
