Expert White Water Rafting Review

Shoot the whitewater rapids of the Shoshone River. Challenge the 13 miles of Class II-III rapids, a perfect first time whitewater adventure. This section is located in northwest Wyoming, on the northern border of Buffalo Bill State Park.

Practical Info: Rafting season is open approximately from May to September, with whitewater rafting trips that can be completed in a half day. The river is suitable for paddle rafts, and oar rafts. Portage may be required.

Useful Tips: Guides are optional, although permits may be required for private trips. Outfitters on the Shoshone River offer trips suitable for families.
