Expert White Water Rafting Review

Venture down the whitewater of the Gallatin River and experience the 8 miles of Class II-III, IV rapids. This section is located in southwest Montana, north of Yellowstone National Park, 18 miles from I-90.

Practical Info: Rafting season is open approximately from June to August, with whitewater rafting trips ranging in length from a half day to a full day. The river is suitable for paddle rafts, and oar rafts.

Useful Tips: Guides are optional, although permits may be required for private trips.

Expect to See: An environment of wilderness, and mountains.
