Vast, near-empty bowls await those who love carving their unique signature into the snow. Well marked areas and lifts keep beginners and experts apart so that skiiers or riders of an inappropriate level don't accidentally crash any "private" parties. One of the site's most attractive draws is the remoteness of its location, but that can also be an irritation. The nearest airport is in Boseman, 50 miles to the north. The apres ski isn't as dynamic as the skiing atop the mountain, but there is a down-home and comfortable atmosphere to it.
