Our Museum Expert Says:

Check out the second largest aerospace museum in the United States Air Force! Admire over 95 historic military aircrafts from the U.S. and abroad, pay tribute to the Air Force, and explore firsthand the world of flight

!The Museum of Aviation teaches and entertains visitors through fantastic exhibits, such as the World War II Commemorative exhibit, which tells the story of building Robins Air Force Base and of WWII battles, while in the 45-person "We the People" Theater and Exhibit Hall, visitors can watch an audio-visual presentation on the history of the U.S. Constitution. In addition, the museum is home to real aircrafts, such as the North American B-25J, the Lockheed AC-130 "Spectre" Gunship and the Piasecki (Vertol) CH-21B "Workhorse," which visitors can see up close and personal. The Museum of Aviation also has plenty of programs for youth, offering hands-on activities designed to increase students' enthusiasm for science, math and technology. When you need a break, grab a hot dog or a snack at the Museum's Victory Café, and watch the planes take off and land at Robins AFB from the observation deck.

The Museum of Aviation is located only seven miles east of I-75, near Robins Air Force Base. From I-75, take Exit 144 heading east on Russell Parkway through Warner Robins. Drive nine miles until the end of Russell Parkway and exit before reaching Robins Air Force Base onto GA Highway 247. Turn right and go south for less than a mile; the museum is on the left.
