This region's low humidity, sparse precipitation, and clear, sunny skies make it a great place to visit all year round. The best time to visit is probably in the fall, when the skies are sunny and the weather is warm, but not too humid.
Winter has mild weather, with temperatures ranging from warm during the day to freezing or below freezing at night, with the occasional snowfall thrown in for good measure. Springs pleasant and usually feature lots of wind. The summers are hot and wet, with afternoon thunderstorms a common occurrence. In fact, 40% of the region's precipitation comes in the form of these thunderstorms each summer. This season sees the region's hottest (June) and wettest (August) months, respectively.
