Va La is a small farm in Avondale, Chester County, consisting of a hillside cellar, seven acres of vines, and one family devoted to each other and to the creation of wine. Our passion is for creating wines made from rare varieties and unusual blends that our elders tell us we have no business making. We are a micro-winery, whose focus is entirely on small batch productions that cause us as much financial hardship as possible. We believe that there is a bit of magic in the pairing of local foods and local wines at the dinner table. For this reason we offer tastings of our wines accompanied with tidbits of authentic local food specialities of the Brandywine Valley.
