The Moore College of Art & Design is over 155 years old and is the only women's art and design college in the United States. Free of charge, the museum's galleries present emerging regional, national, and international artists.You'll find student exhibits such as Focus On: Computers for Fashion/Textile Design, the Goldie Paley Gallery, Encapsulated Time: Age, Image and Rock 'n Roll, and Flow: Frank Hyder, Mary Ann Krutsick and Jonathan Wallis.
In the art shop of the Moore College of Art & Design you can purchase most of the original works from current students and alumnae. You'll find sculpture, paintings, works on paper, jewelry, fashions and accessories, books and textiles. Items range in price and there is something to fit every pocket.
Your art college experience begins as you take the New Jersey Turnpike south to exit 4. Follow through to Route 73 North until you hit Route 38 West. Continue over the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and proceed to 676 West Exit at Museum Area/Ben Franklin Parkway and go right off the ramp. Make a right onto 21st St. and make a left onto Race St and continue until the intersection at 20th St. The Moore College and Museum will be just ahead on you right.
