Golf around Philadelphia

Starting with the area around Philadelphia, the Pine Hill Golf Club is set within a forested area that gives each hole the kind of privacy every golfer craves. You might see some wildlife during the day to add to the excitement of this beautiful and well-maintained course.

“Short but intense” is one way to describe the Golf Course at Glen Mills. Golf Digest has called it something else: the #1 course in all of Pennsylvania. You'll find a wide variety of terrain throughout the course, especially as it moves from the links-style in front to a more tree-lined feel in the back.

Three Little Bakers: Yes, that's the name of the course, and reason enough to play it.
Another reason is that the inexpensive greens fee includes a cart. About the course itself? Expect uneven lies and the need to cover big distances.

Wyncote is a Scottish links-style course with a bent grass surface and tee boxes for every golfing level.

Hartefeld National is dotted with lakes and ponds to swallow up your ball, so be sure to make use of the generous landing areas on the fairways - unless you're a glutton for punishment.

Golf near Harrisburg and in the Poconos

In the western reaches of the region is the Hershey Country Club West Course, a serious course with tree-lined fairways. Don't be fooled by the scent of chocolate in the air. The candy on this course ain't for kids.

Fabulous views of the Pocono Mountains and the Delaware Water Gap are just part of the joy of playing The Club at Morgan Hill. The course boasts wild variations in terrain, including some holes with seven or more bunkers, while others have none. One hole, the 12th, has a 150-foot elevation change. Fun! Just like the rest of the eastern Pennsylvania golf experience.
