Scenic Horseback Rides
The Brandywine Valley is perhaps best enjoyed on horseback, following the lazy path of the Delaware River with a picnic and a bottle of wine from one of the many local vineyards. The Brandywine Valley is horse country, and you can get into the local spirit on an evening trail ride through the 80 acres of woods and meadows that skirt the Delaware border. Meander the trails past 200-year-old oaks and enjoy the spectacular scenery.
