Hot Air Ballooning
For a unique and memorable adventure, take a hot air balloon ride over Lancaster's Amish farm country or over Chester County and the Brandywine Valley. Daily flights are available, weather permitting, between April-November, with the busiest season being from mid-September to mid-November and the most popular flight time being sunset on Saturdays. Flights depart from Strasburg or from St. Peters and last for an hour. While an expensive activity, you'll have full hands-on involvement during the inflation stage as well as a champagne toast and refreshments once onboard. Three- to five-day ballooning adventures are also available, but cost hundreds of dollars per day per person.
Helicopter Flight
For an exciting way to get a literal “overview” of Philadelphia, take a helicopter ride! For a very reasonable price per person (minimum three people), you can get a quick ride over the Philadelphia skies.
